Music for saxophone quintet and sextet

Sometimes when writing music for quartet I find I can't quite cram everything I want into just four notes at a time - and that is where saxophone quintet and sextet arrangements are great! That extra part (or two) can add depth to a quartet arrangement and make it "sparkle" that little bit more.

While my catalogue mainly contains music for saxophone quartets, I have written music for ensembles from four up to 16-piece saxophone choirs. I couldn't say that I have a favourite ensemble type to write for (... really), but quintets and sextets offer an ability to add extra harmonies, countermelodies and little flourishes that really can set a piece apart.

I only have a few arrangements for quintet and sextet available at the moment, but they are some of my favourite pieces to play. Watch this space for more, and if you are in a quintet or sextet and want some new music, why not check out my music below?
